Our Castaway Bay Island Escape Experience and Giveaway

Last weekend, my family was invited to an event we will never forget. Since my husband and I were busy with our own perspective work, it is always important for us to have family time with our kids. Therefore, when we had given an opportunity to visit one of the best indoor water parks in Sandusky, Ohio, we never hesitated to experience the weekend getaway in exchange of my honest review and to share my experience during the stay.

 Since we lived two hours away from Ohio, traveling more than two hours would be difficult to travel with small children. That is why, we consider a closed by getaway destination for now which Castaway Bay is one of the outstanding choices we have when it comes to an indoor family resort.

Castaway Bay is the best place you may want to go when you were tired of winter time and just wanted to go escape the cold weather by enjoying the tropical, an indoor 82 degrees Fahrenheit weather all year around. The place where awesome, my children had so much fun playing at the toddler’s pool where they have these small water slides for young children to enjoy water park at its best. My son loves the castaway bay wave pool; he had so much blast with the wave and just doesn’t want to stop! And for me, I love the lookout lagoon family funhouse; the giant tipping bucket is awesome! It’s just the fascinating place for people who just love water and enjoy different sorts of elements into an interactive play. They also have giant slides that young teens and adults would love to explore.

Then by the end of the day, we were invited to join in a blogger event where fellow bloggers got get together to experience more of fun inside Castaway offered aside from the exploration of indoor water park, they also have fun activities for kids throughout the weekend where kids can do crafts and arts, souvenir coloring, face painting, play games at the arcade, parties with Peanuts gang and so much more! They also offered a spa service and also a shopping stores for souvenirs and gifts. It was a nice place to explore to forget the real world behind us for a while.

Then, after the meeting, we headed to our room where we stayed at Starfish Bayview room where you can avail starting from $99 and four indoor water park passes are also included! Yet, it was a nice view though. I also love the features included in a room were a free Wifi, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, a hairdryer, an iron & ironing Board, a TV and a safer box for personal belongings that you may want to keep safe.  The bathroom was excellent and the room smells good.
