The J Family

This week on ABC Wednesday is letter J. Oh, it reminds me of we were a “J” family! My husband and I never get connected with each other because of our first name that starts with the letter J, but of the reason that we fell in love. It just happened that his name is Joel and I’m Jessie (even my nickname is J which is Joy). Then, even my late mother in law is J too which is Julie which whenever we went out to eat, she always tells the table tender that we were a “J” family. It’s funny but it is true!

Then, when we had our first born, I never thought of naming him any other names because when I was a teenager, I already set in my mind that if I will have a son I would named him Joshua and that’s what I did! Then, when we had our daughter, we named her Joella knowing that we’re all J, why not named her a name that starts with J, then?

Yes, we’re the J family and we’re proud of it. Every time somebody asked my children’s name, they would exclaim, “oh, a J family” It was hilarious, but it’s true!
