Pocoyo and Joshua

Pocoyo Lover! Yes, that’s what my son is right now. I still remember the first time he had a chance to watch Pocoyo and it was on Netflix. Since we have a Netflix streaming watching this show is so easy. During my son’s spare time, we watched it together. I love Pocoyo too. He is such a cute kid and I can compare him to my son Joshua. If you haven’t known Pocoyo, it is more than an animation series. Pocoyo is a boy who is recognized all over the world since I saw some of the videos of the show in different languages such as Chinese, Tagalog, and even Spanish. You can find Pocoyo in many places such as on television, the Internet and now on other platforms such as mobile phones. Pocoyo is everywhere.

When my husband found this new website of Pocoyo

, I learned a lot of things about the show and its characters as well. Pocoyo is a child like any other: curious, mischievous, restless, loves to have fun and learn new things every day. Everything is new and exciting in Pocoyo’s world. Everything is yet to be discovered. He has friends Pato whom Pocoyo’s best friend. He is loyal, noble and frightened of anything new. However his caution is not much use to him next to the intrepid Pocoyo. There is also Elly, a pink elephant, who is fun, smiley and surprisingly agile. She is the oldest in the group and the one who tends to make all the important decisions. She is very strong and has great physical coordination which she uses to ride her scooter, pick things up and dance beautiful ballet pieces. Also, in the show is Pocoyo’s pet named Loula, she always wants to play even when no-one else feels like it. She is Pocoyo’s inseparable companion and always goes to him whenever he needs her.

Other fond characters on the show is Sleepy Bird, she is a very, very sleepy bird which always makes me laugh. Although sometimes it seems she only wakes up to switch off the alarm clock, Pocoyo tends to go out with his one and wake her up so that she can take part in all of the games they play and adventures they have every day. She has a baby called Baby Bird who is the new member of the family that everybody looks at with interest. Happy, determined, brave and awake, Baby Bird has all the energy that Sleepy Bird is lacking! Fluttering happily, Baby Bird tries not to miss out on the fun adventures in the world of Pocoyo and his friends and their exciting life.

There are new characters on the show like Caterpillar, the yellow caterpillar who sparks the big brother instinct in Pocoyo. Do not be fooled by her size, she has got our friends into more than a few tight spots with her big appetite. Nevertheless, her charm, innocence and willingness to play and discover the world make her an inseparable friend of the group and Fred who is a friendly and odd red octopus who comes out of the sea to share in the fun with his friends on dry land. Fred is a sense of humor personified. Surprising, unpredictable, crazy and fun, everything turns into a game with him. But, I never had seen them yet on any of the shows, hence, maybe on some of the new shows.

Well, my son has been so into it, and even playing games online too with Pocoyo is what he loves to do! Now, I thank Pocoyo for being my son’s friend, somehow.
