ABC Wednesday: D is for Diet
This week on ABC Wednesday is letter D. D for me is for Diet.
Last month, my Nutrition class started, one of a class that is required to get into a Nursing program. As I joined the class, I have learned a lot. My teacher is the best, he knows everything, he was even healthier for his age, as a 74 years old. He looks like on his 60 or something.
Anyway, his diet is awesome. He said he never smoke, never drink caffeine, pop soda or even eat food with food colorings or preservatives. He eventually eat natural, healthy food. One thing he said that really made me wonder, our life is only for one time, we can't get it back and be young again. So, take good care of our health is the key to enjoy longer and healthier life.
One thing is Diet. Every people was on their diet. Diet is not like you eat certain food to keep you fit but instead it is a group of food that you ate everyday.
Well, as I went along with this class, I have learned a lot. Sometimes, it made me wanted to stop since some of the food I ate is not that healthy at all.
One thing is good about it, if you find a lot of sugar in a nutrition fact daily values on any of the product you ate, make sure it has a fiber too. To slow down the sugar absorbency in your body that sometimes make it into glucose to fat. That's why, we gained weight.
Well, a lot of things to learn is a good thing as well but sometimes it is pain in the pocket...
