R is for Roses
It's time for ABC Wednesday and today's letter is R. For me R is for Roses.
A few days ago, hubby and I went for shopping and then decided to stopped by at one of rental video store to rent some new release movies. Then, at the other corner of the rental video store, I have found this Thrifty Flower shop and I couldn't help it but to go inside the shop and look for some flowers and there I have found this lovely roses and good thing they are on sale too.
So, went home after and I put them on the vase and waited for them to blossom and here they are after a day or two.
The sad thing is, they died after a week even though I put some flower vitamins in them...I guess that's what happen if you go to a thrifty flower shop because they are indeed dirt cheap.

I always find dead flowers particularly depressing,
You were lucky they lasted a week. At this time of year, I find roses often don't even open, but fade and die very quickly.
Your roses are lovely. I am particularly fond of the pink ones with golden centres!
