Encounter with Pets/Animals

It's time for my Mommy Moments, and today's theme is: First Encounter with Animals or Pets.

I have some couple of photos of animals and pets taken while we visit Detroit Zoo here in Michigan and Toledo Zoo at Ohio. We had a very good time; therefore, I forgot to take photos of these animals with my son in it. Therefore, I only have one photo to share when my son actually is in it.

The first one was taken like two years ago, during our trip to Rogers City, MI for a 4th of July vacation. It is also the first time of my son getting so close to my mother in law's Labrador named Mary Ann. He was kind a scared and yet really wanted to play with her. She's a very sweet dog and almost licked my son's face.

The four photos were taken during our visit to Detroit and Toledo Zoo as I mentioned a while ago, the Polar Bear, the Monkeys, and the Giraffe and Zebras at the Safari area of the zoo. My son really loves the giraffe; he was really into it where he keeps on pointing it.

The last one photo at the very side corner was a chipmunk which was taken last time we visited my sister at their home. They have a friendly chipmunk at their house who always loves to visit because they always give nuts to them. My son was so excited and thought it was one of his stuff toys, though and always scared the chipmunk away, but I wish I could hold the chipmunk though but they were yet very active and aloof animals.
Anyway, there are some of the animals that my son saw for the first time of his two years. Looking forward for him to experience and explore more things on our up coming vacation.
