First Haircut

Yesterday, when I woke up from bed, I suddenly asked hubby if he wanted a haircut because I eagerly wanted one. I have been wanted to get a new haircut since last January. I haven't got one since then. So glad he agreed and decided to have one too. So, he called his sister for a free haircut as usual. So, when we were there, he suddenly wanted a haircut for our son Josh. So, I thought he did not want his hair to be cut, though, but then he replied, "well, I figure it out he needed one." Our son's hair has never been cut since the day he was born. His hair was falling off by the time he was about five to six months old, then it grew back. Until then, we never cut his hair off. This is the picture I took a couple of weeks ago, see? How frizzy and wavy his hair was because it was long and curly.



So, yesterday we all got a new haircut, I got mine layered and trimmed. Then, hubby got one too, of course, a short haircut and my son. The best thing about it is that it is my son's first haircut. So, I was so excited and yet having fun collecting some of his strands of curly hairs. He was crying though because he was not used to the idea of somebody was touching his hair, lol! He never likes his hair to be touched, obviously. So we had to hold him and his head so my sister in law can cut and trim his hair better. Unfortunately, my sister in law cut herself but it's just about a small cut but I felt so bad for her, though...


Anyway, unfortunately, I need to take a photo of his back to show his head because he does not want to stay still for me to capture the moment. He just keeps on running around and play...I asked her to be still but he won't.. So, I guess this is a nice one. Now, he looks like a real big boy. Did you noticed sometimes curly hair makes him looks like a baby? Now, he seems like a little boy...

Now, I tried to take a shot of him in the couch just right now, he's jumping along, of course, but good thing I captured nice shots...

Now, it makes me sad because he is not a baby anymore...:(( Well, looking for a next haircut couple of months from now...
