Getting Ready for a Birthday Party

I am pretty busy for this past weekend for my son's upcoming birthday party from sending the invitation to party planning. Now that he's turning 2, I was quite into it, though. Unlike last year when he's turning 1, I was no- no plan, but thankful enough that I have in laws who take good care of it. Anyway, now I am so into it. I bought the things we needed and getting ready for it. Last week, I bought a table cover, a birthday banner, dessert plates, cake topper, balloons and the giveaways. As you can see, I have chosen a "Curious George" theme.

About 3 weeks ago, we already reserved a party and it was in CJ Barrymores. Most of our guests are adults and there's only few children though. So, I guess this is the best thing to do and to consider. Now, I am getting ready and so excited to order the cake and the rest of the desserts next week. I am now excited for the party. Actually, my son's birthday fall on Saturday but unfortunately, my husband have school on that day so we have to scheduled it by Sunday. So, I am glad everything is getting ready now.

Silly Monkey at the Party

Finally, I tell my story early today. It's been a while that I posted my silly monkey stories promptly. So glad I am now on time, lol.
Anyway, last Christmas day, we went to my sister in law to celebrate it with them, of course no one else to, my family was about miles and miles away from us. Then, later that night, we went to my husband's aunt to celebrate and visit them as well. We always go there every year though, so it is normally a part of the day. But the last time we were there, my husband's aunt daughter was there with her two kids. So there's a lot of toys there where my son have found something to play with. Then, after a couple of hours we decided to hang out and watch TV while my son was playing at the living room, my husband's brother in law picked up this remote control car and try to play with my son. My son has so much fun with it, though. I don't know if he was wondering why the car runs on its own or what? He just had fun going after the car until he made this silly faces...

Planting and Blogging

Early this morning, I woke up since my son was crying out of his lungs due to he pooped while he is in bed. So I have to get up as early as 6 in the morning to change his diaper. So, till then I couldn't able to get back to sleep so I just rather go online and check out something. Fortunately, I went to this blog of mine and I was so eager to change its template since the other one takes a while to load. So glad I have found a template and decided to just make over it. So, still I choose a green color to match my old header. I like my template now since it is some what easy to download and explore. Curious George Theme

A few months ago, I posted a poll regarding my son's birthday theme. I make a poll in order for you to help me out. if which themes are the best for a 2 year old boy. Accomplishments

List and describe 3 things that you've accomplished this year that mean something to you. Why are they important?

First of all, after a year of being a mother to my son and that now he's turning two, I am so glad that he is growing as a happy and healthy boy. I never thought I could do it on my own without a help from my mom.
Second, when I choose to be a part time wife and a blogger. I never regret that I was addicted to be online all the time. Since for me, it helps me to earn extra money as well as getting to know the web design and some computer scripts and more. I have learn a lot that helps me to strive harder.
Finally, I am so glad I choose the path to continue my education. After I stopped my studying due to personal situation, I was stuck of being a, irregular 4th year Business Administration in Management student. Now I am pursuing an associate degree in Nursing. Hopefully, it's all going to be a better.

It's Riding Time!

I was so excited and happy to know that my son knows how to push the button of his toy car now. Last weekend, when I was watching TV and my husband were at the computer. I saw my son riding on his car on the hallway. At that moment, he's pushing the button for the car to run on its own since it's battery operated. I was surprised to see that my son knows now how to make it work and to push the button on his own. So I can't help myself not to tell my husband about it and yes he assures me.

Now, I am so excited about next summer for him to use this car outside. As of now, he was stuck here inside our house for a while since it's really cold outside now to play with his car.

So, I took a video of him but in the middle of riding his toy, he's trying to get the digital camera and went off from the car, then he kept on picking up some toys and gave it to me then go back to his car again. So obviously, my video is not that good because of my silly boy! lol!

Has It Ever Occured To You That...

1. Do you think that if more people in this world got laid on a regular basis (what a regular basis is, is up to you!), there might be less generally unhappy people? Why/why not?

• Maybe a regular basis of absence and not related working jobs. Maybe, some people just work to support their daily needs but not really like their job and that what makes people unhappy. So, mostly it could affect your job and it could lead to being laid off.
  

2. Do you think there are just some people on this planet that will never *ever* be happy? If so, why? If not, why not?

• I don't know. There are some certain circumstances that maybe their marriage life is unsuccessful, their partner has been cheated on them, has some financial difficulties wherein the only thing that he can have. Mostly people who are alone are unhappy. I don't know if everybody will disagree but that is what I observed.
  

3. Do you think that to force people to change their ideas about a system of how something works (say, the energy industry), it has to totally collapse before that change can happen? Why/why not?

• Well, I think so. It could help at least. To educate these people as much as possible and show them how this thing could affect in the near future. But sometimes most people has their own opinion and close minded. So, I guess it will depend if they will accept it or not.

Josh at 23

Well, not really today but yesterday. My son just turned 23 months old and now I can say, he's really a big boy! He can play on his own and he just wanted to be alone sometimes. He knows what he wants and did not want. Last week, we went to his new pediatric doctor here in our new area. He missed only one well child exam since our move, so just last week he got two shots though. Anyway, he's developing so good and he's definitely a healthy boy. He weight 26 and stands 33 1/2 inches. I was quite amazed how tall is here now. Probably he get it from dad's side.

Anyway, he's learning a lot of things too. He knows to count from 1 to 10 and now he's learning to familiarize his ABC's. When I tried to sing the ABC's he knew what is the next letter. Maybe, because we got a lot of ABC's toys that teaches him to spell a word, to pronounce the letters and all. I just love the leap frog toys since its totally helping him to learn a lot. So, I guess by the time he will go to school, he already knew some of the numbers and letters. Now, his dada just bought a number toys for him. A toy that teaches him to add and subtract. It is for our holiday gift though but my hubby can't wait not to open it! Oh well... Then, he knew some of his body parts and his facial parts. It's so funny though since my husband even taught him the clavicle part. He's helped me once when I cleaned his room. he tried to lift some of his toys and put it back to his toy box. He arranges things in categories, like where the crayons and coloring book is and his blocks. He is such a bright boy. He can name some simple picture in some of his book and he tried to open doors and closes it.

Now, he's 23 months old, I'm quite so excited for his upcoming birthday next month. It's 30 days to go, though. But now I'm getting ready and prepare his small party. We just invited some family relative and some friends. I already ordered some invitation and probably will go to Party City next week or so to buy some of the things we need. Then, I already reserved the venue and I'm glad it's right on time. Well, as a mom, I'm just so excited!

Curious as a Cat 15

1) What is the most unbelievable thing you have ever witnessed?

• When I went out with in in laws for a ladies night out. When we came home from the restaurant, we saw an accident. It happened that no one is there yet, no ambulance, no cops, just civilian people who block the road. I think the incident just took a second. I am so glad we're about 2 to 3 cars behind. I even saw the car who just had the accident and the driver in it. It is just so unbelievable that anything can be happen in a snap. It is just so weird. Now, she's there full of blood...I hope she survived.
  

2) If you could change your identity completely (money no object), what would the new you be like?

• My hair! I hate my hair. It is so frizzy and I need to do something about it just to make me feel good. I hate it since sometimes, I don't have time to do the makeover...oh well...now if I have the chance to change myself that would be it. I guess...
  

3) What would you do if you saw someone making fun of another person?

• Well, I would just say, are you just making fun of yourself? Since you laugh because you saw your own reflection. LOL! I don't know what to say...really....
  

4) If you could go back to the Garden of Eden and talk to Adam and Eve for five minutes, what would you say?

• Ahhh....Why are you two naked? LOL!
  

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

• It reminds me of a meeting hall. It also look like a small room where the wedding ceremony will take place....
